Why not pie in the islands. Instead of layers, you stack them side by side on the islands.

A volcano that oozes right outside the pie filling is too short. You can always so beautifully made ... Hawaiin beautiful flowers wrap around the sides. Can be connected to hot filling, raspberry or vanilla pudding mud (colored pink or red as lava) to look at ... something ... very unique. It should be remembered and talked about for years!
